Application status

Actually these two results have been released to me several days before.

First admission from University of Nebraska-Lincoln arrived on Feb 18th. No foundings. “The department is not able to offer you a teaching assistantship at this time but, if this changes, we will contact you. If you are interested in a research assistantship you may contact professors in your area of interest by email and see if they have any positions available.” In fact I felt very confident when applying for this University. Maybe my reference letter went wrong; maybe it’s the economics.

First offer from NordSecMob came on Feb 19th. Scholarship granted. However, I have not been notified of the number of scholarships. Hopefully 21,000 euro per year. They will contact with me in March. The study track is KTH and TKK. How are these two schools?

I don’t feel like spending five years or more to get a PhD degree right now, so I may give up the chance to study in America. And the possibility that I’m offered a stipend is quite low. So “Bang” the American Dream!

And now I’m waiting for the result of another EM program, which will be released on Mar 3rd. I received a phone call days ago confirming my mailing address and preferences. I don’t really know what was that all about.

Anyway, wish me luck!

“Light up, light up, as if you have a choice.”
